Our Client is an award-winning landscape architecture and urban planning firm providing a full service approach to the site development process. The practice was originally founded in 2000 and has contributed to locally iconic places throughout South Florida. The firm provides a broad scope of design and consulting services including Implementation of designs for the private and public sectors in the institutional, public, commercial, transportation, equestrian, parks and recreation, resorts and residential topologies.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an exceptional Landscape Architect to join a growing team in West Palm Beach. You will support the Landscape Architecture practice by providing site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production. As the firm serves both public and private sectors, a diverse project experience will be a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of site and planting plans
• Site planning and management of multiple projects
• General project research project coordination
• Local regulatory permitting
• Preparation of technical specifications and bid documents
• Work closely with project team members and clients to maintain project schedules and resolve project issues

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• 2-5 years of professional experience planning and processing site plans through government entities
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and Microsoft Office
• Project management and design experience along with strong organization and communication skills
• Must have ability to travel to project sites as requested
• Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as within a team structure
• Knowledge of local South Florida plant material desired
• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture
