Job Description: Responsible for start-up and shut-down on production line.
Maintains communication within production team member ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.
Monitors production line materials and supplies to ensure efficient production
Ensure adequate supply of packaging materials and communicate resource requirements for replenishment
Determine acceptable quality ranges on product and packaging
Coordinate communication between pre-weight, processing, packaging, QA, palletizing and warehouse
Attend and participate in daily team huddle and plant-wide meetings
Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate machine operating difficulties.
Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
Ability to perform changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed.
Complete required paperwork and checklists as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 + $0.75 shift differential (increase after 1 year in position)
